Here’s a step by step guide showing you how to push a domain name to another members account at Name.com
- Log into your account using you username and password.
- Click on “Account” at the top of the page, your account homepage will load.
- In the Control Panel (on the right side), click on “Account Transfer”, the Domain Account Transfer page will load.
- The box will be ticked “Transfer to someone elses account using their account code”.
- Enter the Recipient’s / Buyer’s Account ID, check the applicable contact types, and click “Submit.”
That will initiate the transfer process and the domain will almost always be transfered within 24 hours.
However, Name.com’s system has been known to be a bit tricky, so I would want to keep an eye out for failed transfers. In which case, you’re best resort is to contact support.
